Upon graduating from Eastside High School in 1986, I graduated from Rutgers University in 1990 with a B.S. in The Administration of Justice. I worked as a Criminal Investigator for the State of New Jersey. After being laid off because of the Afghanistan/Desert storm war, I become a Paralegal for a very successful local attorney. In 1993 I moved to Florida where I became an eligibility specialist for the Health and Rehabilitation Services. I truly enjoyed working with the elderly and disabled who were in financial need.
I married Paul Trigg and began to have children soon after. I have three beautiful children. Our eldest daughter, Jordynne, is a freshman at Clemson University in Clemson, SC. She is studying to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. We have two elementary aged children as well. Paul, Jr. is seven years old and Miya Joy is five years old. My husband Paul is a welder and a carpenter, by trade. He is also the Supervisor at the Railroad. In addition, for nearly 15 years he has owned a Deck/Fencing company. Currently, I am the Marketing supervisor for Culvers Corporation.
Most importantly, Paul and I are blessed to be Pastors of our own church. I am still singing. Lastly, I am the Praise & Worship leader.
If it wasn't for the strong leadership of Mr. Joe Clark, I am truly unsure that many of us (children without a strong male presence in our homes) would have made it through school or the neighborhood or be able to go on to have a successful and fruitful life. May God bless him!
